Part 3, EPS is still the place to be...

March 13,2013

Long time no see, hear, touch, smell and whatever, so let's change it!
You might have thought that we already became landlubbers but hell no and here's why:

Germany's biggest startup city
As you know EPS helped to put Cologne on the startup/entrepreneurial map but this city is not only about an event taking place once in a year and some of us were/are busy supporting the scene to proof this.
It resulted e.g. in "The Pirates Inn", a new blog covering entrepreneurship, startups, tech and innovation, especially from Germany’s Rhine-Ruhr area (where Cologne is located), Capnamic, a new major multi-corporate fund in Cologne, the 1st Startup Weekend Cologne and so on...
This hustle was recently appreciated by our neighbors from France who announced Cologne "Germany's biggest startup city" and our Pirate in chief, Till, as "one of the 5 must know people in Cologne".

Facts on the table
But ok let's get to the details of the event taking place once in a year and probably the reason why you're reading this piece.

The date of EPS 2013 is August 26-27th - due to potentially better weather conditions - you know EPS is an outdoor event - and in the hope that the late holidaymakers might want to take a flight to Cologne directly from their holiday's destination we would like to welcome you this year some weeks earlier than usual.

We enlarged our team with Lars Hassler, Ruth Cremer, Lukas Strniste & Alex Tilg to ensure an even more unique experience - they're all experienced in organizing events, e.g. the above mentioned Startup Weekend Cologne or 3 Day Startup Germany and fit perfectly to our team.

New ticket category: due to several reasons we had to slightly increase our ticket prices but still not aiming to appear like greedy bastards, that's why we are introducing "Super Erni Bert", a ticket for the fast (until April 26th) decision makers.

Btw be aware you should be quick with your application due to a limited ticket capacity.

Oh yeah, nearly forgot, Google employees can now find us on G+.

Still don't know what to expect at the EPS? That was the stunning last one, September 10-11th 2012 in Cologne: facebookstorify! Or follow the #eps13 hash tag on twitter.

See you soon and stay tuned
