Vinay Solanki is currently Head of Channel 4’s Commercial Growth Fund responsible for their “media for equity” investment activity on disruptive digital consumer businesses. The model is focused on providing high quality TV airtime in return for passive equity stakes in typically growth phase companies. Since joining in the Summer of 2015, Vinay has led 10 deals in total, including 6 equity investments in consumer businesses alongside Series A VCs (such as DN Capital, Mangrove Partners, Felix Capital, Octopus Ventures & Accel Partners, amongst others). Vinay is actively seeking interesting and high growth consumer facing companies that might benefit from access to UK TV airtime, and has an active pipeline for 2017.

Raphael is a strategic & analytical international digital professional who turned the page on 14 years at Apple to come back to his love of entrepreneurship & innovation-driven companies. He is now actively engaged with the Startup / VC community, particularly with StartupBootCamp, building the iOT program out of London.

Dr. Christian Weiss is Partner at Creathor and responsible for companies in the technology sector.
Prior to joining Creathor Venture he was an Engagement Manager at McKinsey & Company in the Telco-, Technology- and Media-sector and was affiliate of the Organization practice. Amongst others, he worked on projects such as performance management, leadership development, lean transformation, international strategy, and turn-around/cost programs.
His startup career began with an online community and an opaque hotel-booking platform, where he was engaged as investor an advisor. He holds a Ph.D.- and a Master’s-degree from the European Business School in Oestrich-Winkel.
Clément wears two hats at Point Nine where he supports our portfolio companies with everything marketing and is also exploring trends and finding cool startups as a research analyst.

Corné joined INKEF May 1, 2015 and focuses on early stage investing in the areas of enterprise SaaS & financial technology. He has 7 years of investment experience in technology.
Prior to INKEF, Corné was a VP at HPE Growth Capital, a late stage growth fund where he looked at both B2B as well as B2C business models in the areas of fintech, applied materials and enterprise software. Before joining HPE, Corné worked in the London based Technology Coverage teams of Merrill Lynch and Credit Suisse First Boston, both in London where he executed several M&A transactions and IPOs. He holds a BSc in Finance from Reims Management School and a MSc. degree in Financial Management from the Nyenrode, Netherlands.
When not working with start-up companies you might find Corné on the beach playing beach volleyball (though he admits there are better countries for this particular pastime), in the kitchen cooking, spending time with his family or reading up on technology trends. Prior to his career in technology he actually worked as a roady for several years, but that’s a different story.

Benedikt Kronberger, Partner at btov, joined the firm in 2011 and is responsible for the management of new and existing investments. Benedikt studied international business administration at the Vienna University of Economics and Business Administration, international management at the Community of European Management Schools (CEMS), and public administration in international development at Harvard’s Kennedy School. Prior to btov, Benedikt has worked in corporate development for the Austrian oil & gas company OMV, and in M&A for Rothschild. Moreover, he co-founded the online drugstore AllesAnna.de, and the second screen social tv platform mccheckin.com.
Franziska has been an investment manager with Tengelmann Ventures since 2012. She also co-manages the Impact Investing program of Tengelmann Social Ventures. Prior to that she had worked in sales and marketing with Materna and Bertelsmann and initiated a business plan competition.
Franziska studied Business at the universities of Göttingen and San Sebastián and also holds an MBA from the Berlin School of Economics and Law.

Tobias Schulz joined HTGF in 2017 and focuses on investments in software, internet and e-commerce companies that have a strong adoption to scale.
Before joining HTGF, Tobias started in Investment Banking working for Goldman Sachs and J.P. Morgan. As an Entrepreneur in Residence he helped to build the German unicorn Zalando SE. Tobias Schulz is the founder of several companies in the fashion and fintech industry and led the operations practice of Fashionette GmbH.
Tobias holds a B.Sc. degree from EBS University in Oestrich-Winkel in Germany, a M.Sc. degree from Maastricht University in the Netherlands, and completed Computer Science programs at Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT).
Axel Nitsch focuses on B2C and enabling business models, mobile internet, ad-tech and SaaS topics. He is intrigued by outside-the-box models. Before joining HTGF in 2016, he was an Investment Manager at T-Venture, the corporate venture capital arm of Deutsche Telekom AG. He began his career at United Internet AG and a Korean-German joint venture start-up.
Johannes simply enjoys what can be achieved with technology today and especially tomorrow. He holds a Master of Science in Information Systems from the University of Osnabrück and co-founded his first startup during his bachelor studies in Osnabrück.
Afterwards he joined a German media company and founded one of the Top-15 online performance marketing agencies in the DACH region. Before joining Capnamic, Johannes led corporate development and the digital investments of a media company.
In his leisure time, Johannes likes to jog and keeps a close eye on the German basketball team Artland Dragons.
Alex is a Senior Associate at Atomico where he has worked on the investment team for over 3 years, covering the DACH region and sector focus on fintech, consumer, and proptech. He works with portfolio companies such as GoEuro, Lendinvest, Lilium, Scandit, and Knewton. Prior to joining Atomico, Alex worked at Bain and Company for 2 years, working across private equity, telecoms, and financial services. He graduated from the University of Cambridge with a first class BA in English.
Jan is Managing Partner at bmp AG, managing the Venture Capital funds BFB Frühphasenfonds Brandenburg and IBG-Fonds Sachsen-Anhalt. bmp is a hands-on VC-company helping startups in the field of financing, controlling and business development.The current sweetspots are early and later stage investments in tech companies between 0,5m-10m EUR per case. An expert in EU Funding for Startups and SMEs, Louis is currently heading the team at EU Startup Services, the leading European-wide consultancy on EU Funding for Startups, directly securing over 31 direct grants ranging between €50K to €2,5M for innovative startups in the past year alone.
Louis has been working at the interface of technology, innovation and funding for over 8 years – initially for Non-Profits, then in Science and Technology at Stockholm University (under the Swedish Ministry of Entreprise), across different thematics, including e-Government, e-Privacy, e-Skills, and Interoperability. Today, Louis focuses exclusively on the European startup ecosystem through mentoring and access to funding, with a core focus on Open Disruptive Innovation, eHealth, Transport, Smart Cities, IoT and Energy.
Christopher joined Northzone in 2016 as an Investment Manager, where he works with companies like LEMONCAT and Personio. Before joining Northzone, Christopher co-founded Uncover, the award-winning app enabling London diners to discover and book the city’s most desirable restaurants. Building the company was a lesson in doing things fast, and with focus. After having acquired hundreds of thousand users and generated millions in revenues for their restaurants, the team exited to Velocity. Christopher started his career in banking at Deutsche Bank and Sal. Oppenheim in Germany. He holds an MBA from the London Business School and a Diplom-Kaufmann from the EBS, Wiesbaden.
