Christian is a Founding Partner at Cherry. After some years at The Boston Consulting Group, Christian joined Zalando (FSE:ZAL)
as their first CMO. Christian was responsible for building up and managing the group’s marketing efforts (i.e. performance marketing, CRM, PR, TV and brand marketing). He then joined the Management Board of Peek&Cloppenburg and was responsible for the company’s online business. He holds a diploma in business administration from WHU – Otto Beisheim School of Management. He has lived and worked in the U.S., Spain, Brazil and South Africa. Christian gets excited about founders that are as passionate about execution as they are about building a strong and sustainable brand. He has a particular focus on logistics and mobility as well a food technology companies.
Olivier is Partner of Partech and leading activities in Germany.
Olivier joined Partech in 2015 with an international track record in digital ventures as a venture capitalist, entrepreneur, manager and M&A advisor.
Ventures include brands4friends, the German leading Flash Sales company, where Olivier drove the international expansion, restructuring of the firm and trade sale to eBay for 150m€ as well as MarkaVIP, now one of the largest e-commerce companies in MENA.
Olivier was formerly with Wellington Partners, a pan-European Venture Capital firm with offices in Munich and London with more than 800m€ under management.
Prior to this, Olivier contributed to establishing Texas Instruments as the leader in chip security for mobile phones. He started his career at IBM, in New-York and Zurich, where he participated in the development of a new processor for 3G handsets. He wrote several patents.
Olivier holds an MBA with honors from INSEAD (France/Singapore), with exchange at the Wharton Business School, and a Master’s degree in Telecommunications from the EPFL (Swiss Federal Institute of Technology), with exchanges at the Technical University Berlin and Eurecom in Sophia-Antipolis.
Christian Schulte is a self-confessed Cologne Fan and loves gadgets and new technologies. After graduation in business administration he founded his first B2B startup, before he worked as management consultant. Having gained experience in corporate strategy and finance departments, he founded his second startup and worked for 10 years within the field of mobile web and apps. During this time he learned a lot about execution, growth and the difficulties of building profitable business models. Christian is driven by numbers and focused on finding the balance between vision and reality.
Christian is married and has two children. If you can’t find him with his family in Cologne’s public parks and pools, he is probably cooking and having a barbecue.

Dr. Christian Weiss is Partner at Creathor and responsible for companies in the technology sector.
Prior to joining Creathor Venture he was an Engagement Manager at McKinsey & Company in the Telco-, Technology- and Media-sector and was affiliate of the Organization practice. Amongst others, he worked on projects such as performance management, leadership development, lean transformation, international strategy, and turn-around/cost programs.
His startup career began with an online community and an opaque hotel-booking platform, where he was engaged as investor an advisor. He holds a Ph.D.- and a Master’s-degree from the European Business School in Oestrich-Winkel.
Benedikt Kronberger, Partner at btov, joined the firm in 2011 and is responsible for the management of new and existing investments. Benedikt studied international business administration at the Vienna University of Economics and Business Administration, international management at the Community of European Management Schools (CEMS), and public administration in international development at Harvard’s Kennedy School. Prior to btov, Benedikt has worked in corporate development for the Austrian oil & gas company OMV, and in M&A for Rothschild. Moreover, he co-founded the online drugstore AllesAnna.de, and the second screen social tv platform mccheckin.com.
Julius is investing in software companies in financial services, real estate and industrials at Redstone, working with clients in the respective industries. Prior to joining Redstone, he was an Associate for angel syndicate flight.vc on US deals and later helped to set up the UK investment operations. He has worked at German online insurance broker start-up Finanzchef24 in operations and business development, and co-founded the Startup Weekend Switzerland during his studies in St. Gallen, Singapore and London. When not in the office, he can be found playing the guitar and composing. Julius has been named one of the top 30 finance professionals under 30 by Forbes Magazine in 2017.
Jan is Managing Partner at bmp AG, managing the Venture Capital funds BFB Frühphasenfonds Brandenburg and IBG-Fonds Sachsen-Anhalt. bmp is a hands-on VC-company helping startups in the field of financing, controlling and business development.The current sweetspots are early and later stage investments in tech companies between 0,5m-10m EUR per case. Before joining bmp, Jan served for six years in managerial position at GO:INcubator and was responsible for the business development and seed financing of over 60 startups, mainly in the ICT sector (SaaS, marketplaces, mobile, Ecommerce). Prior to that, Jan had positions in controlling and investment banking at Siemens and HSBC Trinkaus & Burkhardt in the US and Luxembourg. Jan’s latest investments are komoot, trinckle 3D and UniNow.
