Gabriele Ianiro
🦜🚀This week I participated for the first time in PIRATE Summit , and it’s been an extraordinary experience.
I didn’t know what to expect, but I went to Cologne with the aim to understand, and most of all feel.
I needed to understand what was going on in the European #startup #ecosystem, and to hear the stories and experiences of startups and people who are working hard in building startup ecosystems in their countries.
Most of all, I needed to feel all the emotions generated by such a great event, because I really want to know how to make my people in Molise feel the same stimulus, inspiration and enthusiasm, at home.
And what I found really amazed me:
1) All the conference was not only about technology, but most of all about people. The main topic was #raiseyourself, and there was a perfect mix of skilled people, incredible startups, and the desire to grow as humans, and to be authentic (#noBS).
2) Since the first moment I entered Odonien, every person I had the chance to meet and get to know was ready to give, before asking (#givegivegiveask).
And I was ready too, I just didn’t know what to give.
3) I felt included, and most of all I felt loved. The n°1 rule at the summit was that #everyoneisavip, and that means that it doesn’t matter who you are, you are loved and heard, and seen, and you feel you matter.
All the time during Pirate Summit I kept thinking: This is what the future of entrepreneurship and innovation should be about, and this atmosphere could really be game changing in my region, and I really want to work to make it happen in Molise, together with my awesome team at #MoliseContaminationLab, and all the people who support us.
Because we can build a better future, we just need to do it together.
As Manuel Koelman 🏴☠️ told to a worried Gabriele two days ago: Kindness is a virus. It will spread, just begin.
Thank you all for being awesome, see you next year (and hear you very soon).
