Remember Hyperjob, the startup from Latvia that was a finalist at last year’s Walk-The-Plank pitch competition?
Well, it turns out that Hyperjob received funding from Smok.vc because of their participation at the event.
Last year at @PIRATESummit I met @kreilisjanis of Hyperjob and we ended up investing in the company as @smokvc.

Smok.vc is a US venture capital fund investing 100k-1M USD in early stage startups in Central & Eastern Europe. Their primary focus is software and gamedev. They love to work with serial entrepreneurs with a global vision who aim to build leaders in their industries.
We know that most Walk-The-Plank finalists receive funding after the event (which confirms the selection process). Great when it happens directly because of their participation.
Do you have a startup, not older than three years and with less than 100 employees, and are looking for funding?
Applications to this year’s Walk-The-Plank pitch competition are open until Thursday, April 27th.
