In the beginning of this year we discussed how we imagined an ideal description of PIRATE Summit.

You come to PIRATE Summit, and immediately you feel a bit overwhelmed. The location is unique and sparks curiosity and wonder. 🤩 There is something to see and explore everywhere. The vibe is relaxed, positive and welcoming.
Every person you meet has a story to tell. When they tell that story you are amazed about what they are working on, what they discovered, what drives them. You can relate because you are on a similar journey. ⛵
An adventure into the unknown, determined to build something valuable, and figuring out life and who you are along the way.
The people are more interested in building relationships instead of just optimizing transactions. 🤝 They come here to explore, learn, get inspired, connect with old friends and find new ones. The atmosphere allows everyone the comfort and safety to be vulnerable and to be themselves.
Interactions are driven by curiosity, not judgement. There are experiences for body, mind, and soul. 🧘♀️ People don’t just attend, they actively participate. They engage, contribute and interact.
They get to experience things they don’t usually experience, and they get to discuss topics they rarely discuss. For that, they will have to step out of their comfort zone. 😱 PIRATE Summit creates the right environment for people to do that and open up to the unknown, each other and themselves.
